Access

What a member may do with the group's pages and posts.

• No Access - a member sees nothing. Useful for closing a group without deleting it.
• Read - a member reads but does not write.
• Read Comment - a member reads and replies to a thread, but does not start one.
• Read Write - a member reads, writes and starts threads.
• Read Write Wiki - as above, and may edit the group's wiki pages.

Encryption

Whether the group's posts are kept encrypted. A group whose posts are encrypted cannot be searched, since the search index would have to hold what the encryption is there to keep. This cannot be changed once the group holds posts.

Receive Group Mail

Whether you are sent a message when someone posts here. This is your own setting rather than the group's; every member chooses it for themselves.

Members

The people in the group, with what each may do. From here you can invite someone by name, change what a member may do, or remove them. The list is long in a busy group, so it stays folded until you open it.
